Vengence Chronicles pt. 4

     As the convoy prepared for the onslaught at hand, the hunters started to back down and whimper. Everyone in the convoy started to get confused by the situation at hand. "Why aren't they attacking" said a soldier. "Cause" said Grump " they only back down when a commander is near", this sent a shock down everyones spines. " A commander" another soldier stuttered "they only appear when the leader has run out of patience in hunting down humans in the general area". "I thought those guys were only a myth" yelled another soldier. "These guys are anything but a myth, how else do you think our cities got overwhelmed so easily" said Grump in a solemn tome. As the convoy started to argue, a loud rumbling started to shake the ground and the winds became harsh and very strong. "Shit, their here" yelled Grump, the hunters roared with triumph as the ground began to break apart and a tornado formed in the distance.Everyone coward in their vehicles as the hunters continued their metallic chorus.

     The tornado was  flying over the convoy and began to dissapate as it touched the ravine and a cloaked figure dropped out of it and landed gracefully on the ground. The earthquake began to quiet as a large mound appeared in front of the convoy where another hooded figure erupted from the mound and landed forcefully on the ground. "Crap, we're screwed" said Grump with a solemn face.
